In my experience, Cheese strains are sometimes not pleasant.  They can burn oily, have harsh smoke, the flavor can be chemically in an unpleasant way.  When the budtenders at Freedom Market in Longview recommended Exodus Cheese as a smooth smoke, I wasn't too sure.  However, I'm totally willing to try a new marijuana when it comes heavily recommended.  Glad I took their advice. Thanks Korey and Derek!

Opening the jar just explodes a dank, complex smell.  The scent is very pungent with sour edges to it and there is a bit of a weird funk around the edges of the smell that could be called a cheesy smell.  Breaking the buds up the smell becomes incredibly more expanded and hugely more complex.  There are exotic flower notes, with a sharp pungency of marijuana.  The crystals on this stick to your fingers and everything else they touch.  I sucked the trichromes off my fingertips when I was done and it was a sharp citrus - delicious.

Smoking this is definitely smooth.  This is like velvet that moves into your lungs and brain of it's own volition.  The flavor is beautiful, it's clean and slightly citrus with mouth-watering swetness on the exhale.  There's none of the wretched greasiness of typical cheese strains.  I'd call this Old Lady Weed for it's smoothness alone - but the high is pretty heavy duty, so I won't call it that.

The high on this is stoney as hell.  There's serious mood uplift and happiness, lots of cloudy mental relaxation.  This definitely got me talkative and social feeling as well, I didn't make too much sense with the depth of the high I had.  The legs on the high are pretty solid as well.

Overall, this was a remarkable strain.  Smell, taste, high were all fantastic and it just might be the smoothest pot I've smoked.  I think all the other cheese strains are imitators because this has to be what this strain was meant to be.
