Everyone knows Girl Scout Cookies. It's a fantastic, slightly Indica-dominant hybrid. People love it for pain, restlessly, insomnia, nausea, a wide array of 'medical' applications from this strain. Berner's Cut, as I've been explained, is just a fantastic particular strain that was higher potency and more sharp flavors than the normal strain, and it's been treated with significant care.
The smell off these buds is incredible. It's complex and rich, with a musky, fragrant, earthy smell, not unlike myrrh from far away. Atop that is a great baked-goods smell, which you don't always get from GSC, but here it really is present.
The bud texture is great and flowery. One side of the nugget is very much darker than the other side, indicating this was likely an outer-layer bud that my gram came from. The light greens and crystal sweetness is beautiful, the darker side is also amazing and the vibrant orange of the hairs is more apparent.
Smoke on this was incredibly well balanced and presented layers of flavor. There's the earthy muskiness up front, the primary smell on the weed, and on the exhale you get a leftover of that shortbread or soft sugar cookie flavor. It's really excellent.
I smoked this for breakfast, with coffee out in my backyard. My dog was running around trying to chase a few of the birds that she plays with every morning, and it was just great. It was a relaxing, clarify, euphoric and uplifting experience. This was an excellent start to the day - it's balanced in the high and the flavors, with no real sleepiness.
