I've never seen a tube with a lid like this. It spins freely unless lined up perfectly, an old-school childproof mechanism. I really like this tube, although the lid feels really cheap. It feels like the lid on these powder filled plastic candies from my childhood.
The smell on this was sweet and slightly blue - there was no real skunkiness on the joint itself. The roll was decent and I'm really glad it was in a white paper. Most marijuana comes pre-rolled in unbleached hemp paper, which has a roughness and texture that is different than that of . I've smoked joints in JOB or Zig Zag 1.25s and frankly I prefer the burn on this.
The smoke was a sort of skunky tropical fruit, with lots of sweet on all parts of the smoke. There was a mere hint of tropical fruits - like the smell off a days-old chunk of coconut shell or licking the machete that was used to cut a pineapple. The fruit is very subtle on the back of the palate. On the exhale there was an itchiness on the roof of my mouth, and my wife got sneezy right after smoking.
I felt this very quickly, right behind the eyes, making me squint almost instantly. The high slowly flowed into a mellow-calm state of thoughtfulness. My vision became very clear, color and detail in HiDef.
Overall, this was a great pre-roll. I enjoyed it immensely, from start to finish.
