The budtender at my local said "This is some straight-up sativa" and I was sold.
Opening this package is pungent and deeply sour. This is the kind of sour you smell and the center of the tongue curls away, your nose crinkles - it's almost a physical reaction. While delicious, it has a faint repugnance just due to the depth of the sourness.
The smell of this expands massively, with a pungent earthiness that feels like an almost feminine smell. Breaking this up, it spreads like something wild and alive.
On the inhale the sourness is all over the place in the front and middle of the palate. I pulled a face as I exhaled this and the sour was like a slightly sugared lemon peel. Throughout all of it is that wild, hanging vines and howling monkeys kind of earthiness.
The high was definitively emotionally uplifted. I was happy smiles throughout. I have not had a permagrin like this in a while. It lasted quite a while, and was a really clean and clear feeling high. At the end, there was a smooth come-down.
Overall, for a marijuana with relatively low cannabinoid content, this was an intense high and very good for emotional positivity.
