$18.25 for two grams of marijuana. It's a great deal, and SPP delivered on a previous strain. It's a weird pricing, but does include tax. Like that other SPP strain, I couldn't get a great focus on the large view of the bud- it's so wild and rangey and I'm just a rank amateur.
Taking this out, it smelled like fresh mango under a sweet, sharp diesel overtone. The nuggets are pretty, with lots of wild rangey hairs. Breaking it open, the buds fall apart to release even more sharp diesel smell, and the mango becomes more fruity-floral than straight mango. This complexity and variety of smells from just a couple grams is definitely what I expect when I think of outdoor marijuana.
Smoking this the taste is very sharp diesel, like the smell. Diesel is almost everything on the inhale and the hold. Exhaling there's lots of other flavors riding under the potent diesel throughout this marijuana experience. At times, lavender-floral was the dominant undertone, then a more fruity flavor, and other profiles. As an aftertaste, there was a bit of a vegetative bite, but overall a smooth smoke.
The high on this was very mellow. It was also incredibly satisfying. There was a great feel to the head as this sativa-dominant high rose up swiftly and engulfed my mentality. The high was very uplifted with a stoney feel that left me clear-headed. Legs were very long.
The high onset quickly, which tells me that some part of that solid cannabinoid count of 25%+ was THCv, which will definitely lead to a fast effect. As THCv is one byproduct of THC exposed to UV light, this being outdoor it's expected to be relatively high.
Overall, this was great. Bud by bud, it was delicious and exactly how I expect high quality outdoor, sun grown marijuana to present. Each one is slightly unique but smooth throughout. The high was satisfying and had legs.
