This cardboard unfolds to an interesting typeface experience. There's some info in there, but mostly just design. The white letters are printed on the chocolate, I was delighted to discover.
This is a firm, smooth chocolate. It's light which made me believe it's hollow. I took a small nibble off the corner and it was a very smooth, sweet chocolate.
I took a bite of half of this and it is hollow! The center is a creamy loose minty filling. The creaminess was a great counterpoint of texture to the very firm, crisp chocolate. A great pepperminty flavor almost overpowers the smooth sweet milk chocolate.
Normally, a peppermint pattie has a nougaty or firm texture. In this case, it was like a loose, creamy and heavily flavored center. You might call it a creme, but it's not quite.
When I swallowed, the two flavors were mixed so thoroughly and the peppermint flavor filled my sinuses and eyes. It was very powerful, clean, natural, and balanced tasting. There was absolutely no tang to this. There was a massive, long aftertaste of clean, fresh peppermint.
I started to feel a mild body buzz from this after about an hour. It was a warm, light body feel that made me want to stretch my muscles and yawn in the early part of it the high.
It had long legs, lasting several hours with a general good feeling, loose muscles, body high, and some significant head effects every now and again throughout.
Overall, this tasty and potent treat is a great edible with effects that can be felt.
