I had to go grocery shopping to feed my family, and I stopped on the way to get marijuana at the Freedom Market in Kelso. I love this shop and I love this brand. I met the owners previously at a visit to the Freedom Market in Longview.

I walked in, saw some huge amount of JV Ranch on the wall, with stickers a color I had never seen before. I said to the budtenders - Jeremy and Cameron, "Hey man, what do you have from JV Ranch? I love their pot!" A second later, some guy on the customer side of the counter started talking at one point, he said, "They've got a lot of my weed." I thought again and figured it out!

"Hey you're the owner, aren't you!" We shook hands and it just so happened I wanted to buy a bunch of his marijuana. I totally did not feel obligated because Johnny was standing right there next to me. That did not influence my decision much at all. I was already going to snap up the best product for the best prices, and that's definitely what I got. Every one premium and a deal. $7 for a gram of this magic - it's great! I'll be reviewing a few strains coming up!

Waiting was just not happening for me at that moment, so I twisted up a joint and got out of public view to enjoy about a third of a gram joint. It wasn't as broken up as it could be, I don't normally smoke pot out and about, but it was a long, dry day and I had hard work ahead of me, and I wanted to get high. I did and it cost me well-lighted pictures of the packaging. Not bad considering the package was shot inside of the my 13 year old mini van at midnight, with the only working dome light barely on. I should have used a flash, honestly. Live and learn.

The marijuana has a pungency and it has a fruity - almost berry - sweetness. The smell is present and firm. The sweetness expands into earthiness with almost pungency at the back of the sinuses once it's broken down.

The marijuana smokes fantastically robust. The flavors are complex, layers of sweet, berry, pungent, earthy, sweet again, all while staying clean and smooth. The inhale has heft, the exhale leaves sweetness everywhere in my mind and sinuses.

This left me with stoned eyes, I'm sure everyone who even glanced at me knew I was stoned out of my gourd. Although, we were the only people shopping at that time, and I was buying to get a ingredients for a big meal prep to see us through the next few busy weeks.

I was totally relaxed in the shoulders, neck, legs. After I got home and sorted and put away the groceries, I smoked some more. This put me to bed only 10 minutes in, after smoking just a half a bowl. Restful relaxation spread throughout my nose and cheeks, arms and lower legs until I just fell right to sleep.

Overall, this was fantastic marijuana. It's complex, robust, excellent indica. This is the type of tasty, relaxed marijuana you smoke for a late-night dessert to relax and watch a show. By the way - this is sungrown marijuana - indicated by the red tones of the label. It came at a bargain price. I would gladly pay double for this. I can't even imagine why it was priced at $7 a gram.
