I love me some #PurpleTurtle. Earlier this month, I reviewed White Widow, and it was labeled as "shatter" which is in no way fair. Likewise, calling this crisp little slab a snap and pull is unfair as well - this is shatter for sure. I'm going to have to ask the folks at Honu about what goes into the categorization. It almost doesn't matter, but kind of does too.
This Shangri La is just gorgeous. The consistency is crisp at first, but as soon as there's any pressure or heat applied, it turns to taffy. I put this in a silicone tub, which I then put in my pocket, and that insane little pearl was the result. This burned remarkably clean.
On the inhale there was a massively sweet, creamy flavor, like lemon frosting on a cake. Exhaling was crisp and the least bit sharp. There was a great "trichrome" flavor and little bite.
Almost immediately I had a wobbly headed, euphoric feel. This lasted a while - how long, I can't be sure. There was a real time travel effect. The high had long legs, and then turned into a slow melt into sleep.
This was the thirstiest marijuana I have smoked since I was 15 years old. I must have drank 2 gallons of water on this half gram, and because it was sleepy weed, I woke up to drink so much water.
Overall, another fantastic concentrate from a great company! Everything is just consistently awesome.
