The last time I got Orgrow weed, it was also an Indica.  Honestly, while this is some seriously kind bud - it's kind of the budget option at 2 grams for $25.  This farm knows what they're doing with Indica strains, clearly.

The packaging is heavy duty, designed to simultaneously show off the marijuana and also protect it from light.  As soon as you open this bag, all the smells are released.  Popping this bag open filled my garage with weed smell so thick you could almost see it.

The flavor on the herb is a deep, earthy flavor without much sweetness - usually this results in a bitter kind of flavor but not with the Dark Star.  The skunkiness is definitely there in a nasal exhale and the smoke was really thick and warm, which of course resulted in some serious coughing for me.  Before I even finished the first bowl of this, I was stoned.

The high on Dark Star is so contemplative.  I seriously could've just sat down in a corner and considered my belly button for hours.  Instead, I went into my front yard and kind of got to know everything growing out there.  As I stood under the pair of cherry tries, I realized I could weave some of the branches together and hopefully they'd grow together to complete a bridge between each other.

So I spent the next spacey, dopey hour or so contemplating the trees and trying to find ways to get them into the best growing positions, then used a tiny bit of twine in places to get them together.  Most places, I was able to simply maneuver young branches into ideal positions using their own pliability and the strength of older branches.  To me, there's nothing like getting to know a tree or two for a good afternoon.

Later I smoked a bit more of this, and I was two hits in before I realized I had to fall asleep.  Like now.  I had more mental spacey which helped me fall asleep quickly, and when I woke up I felt great.  All the general stresses and pains kind of faded overnight and I felt good all the next day.

Overall, Dark Star seems like the most excellent pain management strain I've encountered yet in Washington.  I'll be looking into other similar strains to help manage my congenital arthritis (hips, wrists, knees, right shoulder are most effected).
