Crystal - Honu

Crystal came to me as a budget marijuana, because I took the deal at my local.  I'm glad for the deal, but I'm not so sure about charging two different prices depending on whether or not you bought other marijuana.  I'd pay $12 or $14 for. Or $10. Whatever, just charge a price. I don't feel like I got a deal in this case but ONLY because of the way it's presented. They made me feel shady - like maybe they were looking to move some pretty rough marijuana on the back of quality pot. I don't go to this store anymore.

This is pretty skunky on opening the package.  There's an earthy smell that hangs close to the nugs once they're out of the package for a moment.  It's like the smell of dead grass that was rained on an hour ago for the first time in ages.  It's not entirely a healthy, uplifting smell to be honest.

Once I broke it down, the pot was crystally, and fluffed out nicely.  The skunky smell became overpowering and it was just absolutely potent, rich and delicious. This was definitely an uplifting smell! Under it all the rough earthy smell came through.

The smoke on this was very bitter and tough.  On the inhale, there was a celery note to the marijuana but on the exhale this ragged smoke was full on burnt celery all over the place.  The aftertaste and the smoke's aftersmell was very celery as well.  This is definitely unique.  Not entirely pleasant, but unique for sure.

The high on this was a bit ragged, like the smoke was.  It was definitely relaxed at the end, but on the way there it seemed to make me more aware of every single ache and pain in my body.  Gratefully, I fell asleep very early with this.

Overall, I would probably not get Crystal again. The high was good but there's serious taste and quality issues overall. There are better deals for better marijuana, if that's what I'm after. There are better Indicas for falling asleep, if that's what I'm after.
