This is a legendary strain, known for being calming and sleepy.  Right away, the labeling kind of throws me. Uplifting is an adjective I apply to sativas, usually. Indica is generally restful, peaceful, calming.. But alright! I read 'floral and sweet aroma', excited then opened this bag.

The smell on this as you open the bag is intensely lemon. There's definitely nothing whatsoever floral about this. My 4 year old daughter and wife made a lemon cake later in the day I smoked this, and the smells were identical.

Breaking the bud up, it crumbled well, leaving behind huge amounts of sticky residue.  The crystals fall off all over, and leave a mess all over the place.  It's great.  The smell of lemon spreads all over the place.  The smell left on my fingers was like lemon essence, and stayed for a very long time.

On the inhale, the flavor is incredibly sharply lemon and the crystals can definitely be tasted in the smoke. Holding this in and through the exhale is sweetness - this is like a Lemonhead candy and the lemony-sweet aftertaste lasted a considerable time.

This pot left significant residue after burning, leaving thick heavy ashes in my bowl.

The high on this was indeed emotionally uplifting and slightly calming. It's definitely not the heavy indica I came to expect from the staff at Lucid, where I purchased this.  The effect was overall very mellow, and light.

After a moderate time, the high wore down to a sleepy end, like being cradled by a lemon cake hug into sleep.
