Sativa. Sativa, sativa! Sativa. This is the first legal Durban Poison I've had in Washington. This was a deal at $12 a gram.

The tiny tight nugs are definitely evocative of that traditional tall, tight structure. There are hairs all over this marijuana and the trichromes are simply encrusting the whole buds. Even the crystals are crusted in crystals.

The smell on this is dry and tight. It's got sage scents and they're very low, barely there. Breaking this up, it crumbles into a fine crunch of crystals and pale buds.

On the inhale the soft, tight sagey flavor persists. Holding it in there is a faint, pale sweetness. It does not hold up well throughout, and it's just a subtle hint among the dry aftertaste.

This is a shifty high. It comes on pretty jerkily, but when it's at it best it's sativa energetic and attentive. One odd aspect to such a heady high is that it made me feel somewhat stupid. I was grouchy and edgy at the end of the high.

The legs were pretty great, lasting a very long time before coming down to a slightly rough end. I took a walk after smoking a little more, and felt quite a bit better.
