I was compelled to purchase this as soon as I heard the name, because I love the number 13. It's my lucky number, my birthday, my wife's birthday, a very real and important presence in my life. Once I started handling this I knew it was for me. The label says this strain is G13 crossed with HP13. Then I looked closer, and the harvest date is my son's birthday so hey - I had to get this marijuana. Then, I looked even more clearly - this is a very large amount of information about the cannabinoid content of this marijuana. I've only seen one or two brands with label as informative as this.

The flower is fluffy and springy. This has a pungent and early smell, with a delicate undertone like rose petals in the morning rain. That undertone maintains throughout this experience. Crushing the flower, a mild citrus is released with a dry herbal undernote. This is sticky marijuana - I broke my cheapo dollar store trimming scissors trying to unstick them. My fingers were like I put glue on them - sticky everywhere.

Smoking this marijuana was delicious. On the inhale, it's slightly sweet, pungent as can be. While holding it in, and on the exhale especially, there develops a savory muskiness that made me think of sandalwood oil. The terpenes involved here are very aromatic and delicious.

This was a bit of a creeper for me. I did not feel this as quickly as I normally do after smoking. The high was very energetic when it got me, I was bouncy and uplifted. Focused is an understatement, and I cranked out several large tasks in between goofy moments of dancey happiness. I had a list and many tasks got done.

Overall, this was fantastic marijuana and a great first time with this brand. 13.
