I definitely love sweets and I have heard repeatedly that Spot makes some of the best edibles. While writing this review, I realized that the "Best By" date was 2 weeks prior to my purchase of the product.

It's the details like that which drew me to reviewing legal recreational marijuana and i502 businesses. It's disappointing that this product is sitting on the shelves weeks past the labelled best date. Frankly, I want to expect better from my local store - especially considering how much money I spend there and how regularly I visit and I once consulted there.

I personally know and appreciate, and like the budtenders - the people - who work at Old Toby. They're the only retailer in my county, just a few blocks away, and it's convenient to shop there. Anyway, this is a review of this delicious recreational edible, not the shop I got it at.

I really like that the cookie is hidden behind cardboard packaging. It protects the deliciousness from light - the enemy of all THC whether edible or flower. On opening the thick plastic bag, the cookie smell explodes. This smells like a Keebler Soft Batch cookie. Remembering the smell, I'm regretting the fact that I didn't put this in the microwave for 10 seconds before eating it. Under the cookie smell is the slightest marijuana smell.

I broke the cookie into pieces, and the chocolate chips appear to be pretty well distributed throughout. The marijuana tang didn't get any more present in the smell.

As far as cookies go, this was amazing. It was that great cookie flavor with a firm and chewy texture. Very tasty without being oversweet, the chocolate was a compliment to the delicious cookie. The marijuana tang was definitely present in the taste, but not overly so. It was a soft highlight in the center of each chew. There was some slight earthy-pungent flavor as is often present in edibles.

I ate the whole cookie - after offering my wife a nibble - and then I smoked a light indica and kicked back to read and relax on my afternoon off. I ended up napping for about an hour and a half and when I woke up this had fully kicked in.

The body feel of this was fun and impressive. It was not consistent, but came with a nice wavy sensation from the top of my head, down through my eyes and mouth, then into the core of my body. It left me with wobbly legs for a few moments and a couple different times this resulted in a sense of disorientation.

Legs on this edible were fantastic and lasted me overall about 5 hours after eating and 3.5 after onset (when I woke up from my nap). I was impressed. For the most part, I had a nice uplifted high with some energetic moments and some weird silly moments. I had a few unexpected gigglefits, and I was left smiling to the end.

Overall, this cookie was delicious and had great effects both physical and mental. This was a hell of a good time for a decent deal. In the end, I don't think I experienced any less of an effect by it being so far past prime. I'll have to find out when I compare it to a fresh one I get at another retailer.
