This Amethyst is in a beautiful package with a ton of information. My wife picked this out because she's been after the strain, but I was drawn to the serious amount of information printed all over the label. This is a glimpse at the vast wealth of information available through testing marijuana. This is all relevant - those relatively high CBGs are great for pain relief in general. Meanwhile, pinene is a terpene with lots of heavy bronchial effects, great for asthma sufferers and similar to the effect of walking through a pine forest.
When it came time to open this package, it was heat sealed all the way up to the zip lock, totally ruining this package. I had to cut below the zipper to get it open. Frankly, very dumb. Never do this to your packaging, please.
The marijuana had a tight dry herbal smell like thyme - which is one of my favorite spices. Breaking it up the smell is very outdoorsy.
The soft limey buds broke up into a crumbly, dry pile with these orange hairs breaking off all over, but holding their own shape well. They stayed prominent until they were burnt.
On the inhale this has a slight cheesy undertone, with deep sour funk riding through to the bottom of a woody pine smoke on the exhale. There's a distinct celery note in the aftertaste and aftersmell.
My high was fast to start, but stayed mellow throughout. I was somewhat distracted and unfocused. Cognition was tough. Legs were moderate, with a very hungry, chillaxed end.
